New Year and Sketch of the Day

First off! Happy New Year.
Second, its been awhile, but I promise, I've been busy. One of the things I've been busy working on is a commission. Which I have permission to post and share! So here it is, Raven Hex from Tarot: Witch of the Black Rose!



Adam was also kind enough to send me a picture of it hanging on his wall:



It's so pretty!
I really enjoyed working on this one. It was quite a challenge, having to figure out how to put in all that black without using a marker. So thanks again to Adam for asking me to do this and for giving me a good old challenge! The piece is 11x17 on Bristol Comic Board done in 100% pencil.

I'll be posting some new marker sketches later this week, beginning of next, so keep a look out.

Sketch of the Day: Cherri Creeper

Not to long ago, I came up with a cute idea(at least I think so)for a Pin Up featuring Cherri Creeper from Holly Golightly's "School Bites".
The idea was, that Cherri raided Tarot's closet and donned Tarot's magickal armor. Tarot isn't too pleased about it and neither is Bing the Bat:
